CMA Tower

Project Name: CMA Tower, Kuwait
Project Location: Kuwait
Building Height: 240m
Glass Area: 25,100 ㎡
Glass Configuration: Ceramic Fritted Laminated Insulating GlassArchitectural Design: Designed jointly by KPF and KEO

CMA Tower Kuwait adopts Ceramic Fritted Laminated Insulating Glass as the core curtain wall material, specially developed for the tropical desert climate of Kuwait and the dual demands of a super high-rise landmark building.
The ceramic fritting process forms regular and rhythmic patterns on the glass surface, which not only strengthens the artistic texture and identity of the building facade, but also weakens strong direct sunlight locally through diffuse reflection, reducing indoor glare and heat accumulation.
The laminated insulating structure has dual attributes of safety and energy saving.
The laminated interlayer can firmly adsorb fragments when the glass is broken, eliminating the risk of falling from high-rise buildings and meeting the safety standards of the 240-meter tower.
The insulating cavity effectively blocks extreme heat and ultraviolet rays in desert areas, reduces building cooling energy consumption, and improves sound insulation, wind sand resistance and salt fog resistance, adapting to Kuwait’s coastal climate characterized by high temperature, strong wind and dryness.
The glass integrates transparency and texture, ensuring indoor lighting and viewing vision, and shaping a modern and grand landmark image with delicate ceramic fritted texture, achieving a high unity of aesthetic design, energy-saving heat insulation and safety durability.
