Hotel Espacio Nagoya Castle features a combined curtain wall system of Tempered Laminated Glass and 12mm Insulating Glass, engineered to suit Nagoya’s distinct seasons and the safety, comfort, and aesthetic requirements of a luxury hotel.
Tempered Laminated Glass: Tempering significantly enhances the glass’s impact and wind pressure resistance, while the laminated structure holds glass fragments securely in place if damaged, preventing falling debris risks and providing reliable protection for the hotel.
It also blocks UV radiation to protect interior finishes and furniture from light-induced aging, improving the durability of the curtain wall.
12mm Insulating Glass: The insulating air cavity boosts thermal and acoustic performance, significantly reducing winter heating and summer cooling loads while dampening urban noise to create a tranquil living environment for guests.
Its high transparency ensures ample natural daylighting, allowing guests to enjoy clear views of Nagoya Castle’s historic landscape and the city skyline.
The combined application of the two glass types meets the hotel’s modern, minimalist facade design while achieving a high integration of safety protection, energy efficiency, and architectural aesthetics, perfectly aligning with the hotel’s design concept of blending tradition and modernity.
