The facade of Lincoln Square Synagogue (LSS) features a combination of Ultra-Clear LOW-E Insulating Glass with Ceramic Fritting and SGP Fabric Laminated Glass, perfectly aligning with the unique design and functional needs of this modern religious building.
Ultra-Clear LOW-E Insulating Glass with Ceramic Fritting: The ultra-clear glass maintains soft natural daylighting, while the LOW-E coating blocks solar radiation to suit New York’s distinct seasons.
The vertical ceramic fritting creates subtle light and shadow variations across the facade, lending a rhythmic visual texture and reducing glare to foster a tranquil religious atmosphere.
SGP Fabric Laminated Glass: The high-strength SGP interlayer significantly enhances impact resistance and safety, while the fabric-textured interlayer adds a soft tactile quality to the facade. Its excellent weather resistance also ensures long-term stability in New York’s rain and snow.
Alignment with Design Vision: The glass combination precisely follows the building’s flowing curved form, with vertical fritting and SGP fabric textures working in harmony.
This creates a warm, metallic sheen in daylight and a gentle glow from interior lighting at night, uniting modern architectural aesthetics with the serene ambiance of a religious space.
